At Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl Theater, we firmly believe that social responsibility is a fundamental cornerstone of our organization. Our mission is to enrich the lives of individuals in the communities we serve. We actively collaborate with non-profit organizations or individuals when applicable.
Round Up for Charity
Pinnacle Bank Arena’s Round Up for Charity Point-of-Sale initiative is back for its second year, continuing to make supporting local charities easy, accessible, and convenient for our patrons. Patrons can round their purchases to the nearest dollar when checking out at a PBA concession stand. 100% of these donations will support local charities benefiting the Lincoln/Lancaster County community.
Sustainability
Pinnacle Bank Arena is designed to be one of the most sustainable venues of its kind. Through our partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program and support from the Nebraska Environmental Trust, we’re achieving energy efficiency and waste-diversion goals.
We use high-efficiency systems and environmentally responsible materials that help reduce operating costs for the community. Additionally, features such as reflective roofing, recycled materials in construction, and premium HVAC systems support our efforts to further shrink our environmental footprint.
Our recycling and composting program aims to divert waste from landfills by using equipment, clear labelling, and education campaigns.
Because a greener arena starts with everyone who walks through our doors, we invite our guests to join us in keeping Pinnacle Bank Arena an eco-friendly, forward-thinking venue in the years to come.
