Our goal is to deliver world-class entertainment and serve as a catalyst for downtown Lincoln’s vitality and growth — inviting locals and visitors alike to share in the excitement and energy of live events.
What we do

Sports
PBA is the home of the University of Nebraska men’s and women’s basketball teams and regularly hosts high-school tournaments and other athletic events.

Concerts & Entertainment
From global music acts and family shows to comedy, ice shows, and monster truck events, PBA brings a diverse lineup of entertainment to Lincoln each year.

Community & Events
Beyond ticketed shows, the arena serves as a gathering place for graduations, conventions, and community-focused uses.

A BRIEF HISTORY

The idea of a new downtown arena took shape in Lincoln as the city looked to modernize its entertainment infrastructure and enhance the West Haymarket district.

In May 2010, local voters approved the project, and construction officially began in September 2011.

Pinnacle Bank Arena officially opened in August 2013, welcoming fans to its inaugural concert, headlined by Michael Bublé, on September 13, 2013.
