Custodian

JOB TITLE: Custodian

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, responsible for cleaning and waste/trash disposal of an assigned area.  Maintain all areas inside and outside of the building including but not limited to restrooms, hallways, arena attic, locker room, sidewalks, parking landscape, both during an event and nonevent times.    This includes but is not limited to replenishing supplies, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal and sorting, vacuuming, washing, lawn work, snow and ice removal.  Must be at least 18 years of age.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general building and ground in a safe and clean manner.
  • Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned.  
  • Empty trash and wastebaskets.  
  • Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and sort recycling as needed.
  • Operate custodial equipment and other related equipment as required.
  • Set-up & tear-down of tables and chairs for events.
  • Assist with event clean-up.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
  • Clean and sanitized other public areas around the premises.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal.
  • Assist with landscape maintenance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events (setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings and equipment).
  • Perform varies duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met including, but not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies.
  • Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns or loss of property promptly to Operations Supervisor.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Summary

This position also assists in preparing for the day to day operations of the kitchen.  Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining and cooking ingredients; in addition to, maintaining a sanitary kitchen.

  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
  • Prep ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meats, etc.)

Summary

This position, under general supervision of the Security Manager, patrols assigned areas and protects patrons and property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants and others on premises.
  • Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during event or at the facility.  If necessary, escort disruptive individual(s) to security office and/or off the premises.
  • Write incident reports and meet with security manager to review procedures.
  • Inspect alarms and fire extinguishers/sprinkler systems to ascertain they are set to operate.  Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
  • Tour facility, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure they are secure.
  • Assist with crowd control inside and outside of premises.
  • Control unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots and other emergencies.
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations -- answer alarms and investigate disturbances.  
  • Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Document all shipping and receiving.
  • Keep record of all keys and other facility equipment that are signed out.

Summary

  • ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Dishwasher position with ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena.  The Dishwasher maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes and keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.  Ensures that the dish area is setup properly, including dish machine and sinks, in accordance with ASM’s applicable standards and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scrape and sort dishes before loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning
  • Maintain dishwashing machine and report any mechanical faults to Executive Chef or Sous Chef
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature during sanitized wash cycle and record temperature on log
  • Washes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware and kitchen items using dish machines or by hand
  • Places clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas after they have air-dried
  • Clean work areas including equipment, floors, walls and cooking areas
  • Ensures that all chemicals for dish machine and 3-compartment sink are kept filled 
  • Keeps all kitchen wares storage areas clean and orderly
  • Remove trash from kitchen and transports to dumpster and clean/sanitize all garbage cans 
  • Assists with accepting delivery items and storage of such items
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using carts
  • Occasionally assist in kitchen prep

Inventory Control Supervisor

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Inventory Control Supervisor for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena.  The Inventory Control Supervisor is an essential position in implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure that proper inventory is in all Food & Beverage locations. The position will assist management in the audit of all concession areas related to inventory movement for the integrity and accuracy.  This individual will lead the counts in a program to identify and eliminate any problems found in daily inventory counts and assist the warehouse with their inventory control procedures. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate the End of Month inventory count process.  This includes entering inventory counts, reviewing discrepancies, spot check recounts.
  • Verify transfers in and out of warehouse for accuracy.
  • Data entry of all invoices within a Purchase Order software
  • Assist in maintaining Point of Sale system on a daily basis
  • Reads & understands a concession stand worksheet
  • Verifies signatures, item totals, and amounts on the stand worksheet
  • Retrieve information from the stand folders for data entry
  • Maintain reports & prints required reports
  • Assist with the distribution of folders & worksheets for the next game day
  • Other duties may be assigned.

The Event Security report to the Event Services Manager and is responsible for patrolling all areas of arena property and parking lots, securing doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on premises, and securing property during move in/out of trade shows, conventions, or events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stand guard during events.  Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
  • Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events at the facility.  If necessary, and in conjunction with local law enforcement, escort disruptive individuals off the premises.
  • Report incidents to supervisor so incident report can be written.
  • Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
  • Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are secure.
  • Assist with crowd control inside and outside of arena.
  • Assist in the control of unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations-answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Ensure that every client, patron, and vendor receives the best services possible.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

This position includes daily management of the Food and Beverage department, with a primary focus on Concessions Operations including; oversight and management of Warehouse Operations, ordering all products, Concessions, Non-Profit Organizations, Cash Room, financials & reporting, budgeting & forecasting and any reports required by the Food & Beverage Director, Property General Manager, or Finance Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee Recruiting, Hiring and Training all Food & Beverage Concessions/Warehouse Managers and Supervisors.
  • Serves as a direct report for the Concessions Managers and Supervisors as assigned.  Also, will fulfill the role of Director of F&B in his absence. 
  • Supports the Kitchen as well as the Catering/Premium Departments with Equipment Needs, POS, Purchasing and Inventory.
  • Ensure proper hiring and training of all Food & Beverage Attendants, Cashiers, Bartenders, & Warehouse Personnel.
  • Ensure planning, assigning, and directing work for employees, and non-profit groups is conducted in a timely manner.
  • Ensures hands on supervision of concessions employees and non-profit employees by Concessions Manager.
  • Attend weekly Food & Beverage meeting and Arena Operations meeting.
  • Maintain POS Database and System and act as the Account Administrator.
  • Oversee the process to maintain all Food & Beverage Equipment to include; cleanliness, scheduled PMs, annual maintenance, and forecasted replacement equipment listed based upon depreciation and/or need.  Bid out new Equipment.
  • Maintains a comprehensive Food & Beverage Equipment Inventory including all Small wares completed annually.
  • Ensure proper compliance with local Health Department and SAVOR…Safe Beverage regulations are followed.
  • Must maintain current Health Department certifications, Savor/ASM certifications and State certifications.
  • Be creative regarding F&B selection, pricing, merchandising, and marketing.
  • Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must.
  • Position is very hands on with considerable interaction with clients and guests during events.
  • Directs all purchases for Food & Beverage Department, including Alcohol.

  • Assists the Director of F&B in holding managers accountable regarding Cash Handling, Increasing Revenue, Sales Goals, Inventory Control, Training, Hiring, Disciplinary Action, Budgets and Payroll.
  • Maintain access to all part-time F&B payroll, code Warehouse staff and verify all F&B payroll.
  • Insure all PCI Compliance Training is up to date for all part-time staff, volunteers and contractors.
  • Maintain access to ASM Marketplace and conduct all purchases through this system.
  • Process Invoices with the F&B Accountant.
  • Oversee and complete Food & Beverage Inventory, ordering, receiving and controls.
  • Assists the Director of F&B with menu selection and development in conjunction with the Executive Chef.
  • Work with HR to ensure consistency in personnel management, and uphold the expectations set forth in the ASM business conduct policy.
  • Maintain the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Must be able and willing to work long shifts, weekends, evenings, early mornings and holidays.
  • Daily contact with all departments, clients and employees.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM’s policies and applicable laws.
