The Environmental Services Attendant is responsible for cleaning and waste/trash disposal and maintaining all areas inside and outside.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain the general building and ground in a safe and clean manner.
  • Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned. 
  • Empty trash and wastebaskets. 
  • Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and sort recycling as needed.
  • Operate custodial equipment and other related equipment as required.
  • Set-up & tear-down of tables and chairs for events and assist with event clean up.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize other public areas around the premises.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal.
  • Assist with landscape maintenance.

  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

Environmental Services Lead

REPORTS TO: Environmental Services Supervisor

FLSA STATUS:  Full Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Environmental Services Lead for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. This position is responsible for the overall cleanliness of ASM Global -Lincoln. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Help oversee the cleanliness of the facility, assist & supervise the Environmental Services Department, direct and train part-time labor, upkeep and maintenance of related housekeeping equipment, and exterior grounds maintenance, both during an event and nonevent times. This position will require working nights, most weekends & some holidays. Must be able to work around large crowds. Position will require the ability to walk up and down stairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Arena and exterior grounds through cleaning and direction of part-time and temporary staff labor.
  • Keeps EVS supervisor and manager informed of the department and department needs.
  • Inspects all areas of the facility for cleanliness and follow-up on daily activities, on event and non-event days.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, representatives, patrons, and others while working.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
  • Checks supply closets to ensure supply is stocked and organized.
  • Check par levels of supplies – inventory single use products – PT TP etc.
  • Ensure company policies and safety regulations are enforced according to SDS, local & federal laws are being met.
  • Ensure shift meetings are completed daily.
  • Assist Supervisor train staff for event and non-event days.
  • Assist with ongoing event needs.
  • Assist operations department related tasks as needed. (Event set up and tear down)
  • Check temp labor staff in/part time staff in & assign job duties and locations at start of each shift.

Summary

Responsible for – preparing and serving hot and/or cold food items, in accordance with ASM Global’s Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

  • Properly prepares, measures, and portions all food items in a timely manner.
  • Complies with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilizes and sets up kitchen equipment to prepare food items.
  • Packages all products to proper specifications.
  • Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed.
  • Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Cook position with ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena.  The Cook is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef by maintaining the highest level of food quality, presentation and timing. This position also assists in preparing for the day to day operations of the kitchen.  Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining and cooking ingredients; in addition to, maintaining a sanitary kitchen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
  • Prep ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meats, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of food ingredients
  • Have a basic understanding of how to read and execute a recipe
  • Making precise measurements
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly with receive dates
  • Proper handling of raw and/or prepared foods and non-food supplies
  • Testing the temperature of food and knowledge of proper cooking temperatures

  • Washing dishes and taking out trash

Concessions Staff Supervisor

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Concessions Staff Supervisor for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. This position is essential in assisting with coordinating and scheduling concessions staff, NPO groups and all other staff needed. The Concessions Staff Supervisor will help ensure proper staffing levels for all events. This individual will help with interviews and train staff, assist with scheduling staff for events, organize and maintain uniform inventory and maintain staff permit records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist department Coordinator as directed
  • Assist with managing check in /uniform room for part-time staff.  Directs staff to working location based on schedules from department managers.  Reports scheduling issues to department managers immediately.
  • Ensure that staff is in proper uniform.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of all uniforms.
  • Follow all rules and regulations which apply to ASM Global at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
  • Recruit and maintain a database for all Non-Profit Groups. Prepare a list following each event of what locations Non-Profit Groups worked in and report to accounting.
  • Communicate scheduling issues to Senior F&B Operations Manager .
  • Demonstrate an ability to mitigate any scheduling conflicts, adjust schedules based on employee leave requests, call-offs, and availability.
  • Maintains Call off/Absence Spreadsheet.
  • Ensures the printing of all necessary “Check In” paperwork for each event.
  • Works with Food & Beverage Managers in recruiting, training, and staffing all concessions areas.
  • Works with Food & Beverage Managers to maintain staff training manual including SOPs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients and vendors.
  • Act as an effective communicator, have flexibility with scheduling, a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, and remain sharp with a professional demeanor.
  • Work with staff while practicing patience and empathy to keep staff engaged.

This job posting is from 12:00am - 8:00am on either Sunday and Monday, or Friday and Monday. Be prepared to specify which days you are interested in. Under general supervision of the Security Manager, patrols assigned areas and protect patrons and property. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Include the following.  Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
  • Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
  • Handle any disturbances or problems that arise at the facility.  If necessary, escort disruptive individual(s) to the security office and/or off the premises.
  • Write incident reports and meet with the Security Manager to review procedures.
  • Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
  • Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
  • Assist with crowd control inside and outside of premises.
  • Control unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations -- answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Document all shipping and receiving.
  • Keep a record of all keys and other facility equipment that are signed out.
  • Work part-time extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of security issues related to a major sports and entertainment venue.
