Cash Room Attendant

POSITION: Cash Room Attendant
DEPARTMENT: Savor….Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Concessions Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Hourly

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has excellent and immediate openings for Cash Room Attendants at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Cash Room Attendant reports to the Concessions Manager and is responsible for maintaining the overall integrity of cash control functions including all cash handling procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Controls and records all cash issued to point of sale cashiers
  • Counts currency, coins and prepares event deposits
  • Report to the Concessions Manager’s cash needs and discrepancies and cash trasactions
  • Establish and maintain positive client relationships
  • And all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Catering and Premium Services Supervisor

POSITION: Catering and Premium Services Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Catering and Premium Services Manager

The Catering and Premium Supervisor oversees operation of catering and premium services areas.  Supervises associates in accordance with the Company’s Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards. 

Qualifications


  • Ideal Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor. They must have prior supervisor experience, be self-motivated and be able to stand for long periods of times. Candidate must be personable and guest service driven.

Essential Functions

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of catering and premium services associates on a per shift basis, including scheduling, training, counseling and enforcing work procedures and service standards 
  • Observes, evaluates, and documents job performance of attendants.
  • Ensures that all equipment is set up properly and operating efficiently and accurately
  • Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests and the operation with the assistance of management
  • Estimates, requests, and inspects supplies and inventory
  • Ensures accuracy and quality of all food and beverage
  • Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned areas
  • Assists management in performing inventory counts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Expectations

  • Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
  • Must follow all SAVOR policies and procedures
  • Must be present for all major events at the arena and at other locations as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training 
  • Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has excellent and immediate openings for Catering Attendant at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.  The Catering Attendant oversees all catering functions to ensure that the assigned events and activities are organized and executed resulting in the complete satisfaction of the guests attending the event.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all banquet equipment.
  • Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service.
  • Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event
  • Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO), as well as Catering Department Service Standards.
  • Must adhere to the SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Is cost conscious, does not over-portion and records all waste

Custodian

JOB TITLE: Custodian

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, responsible for cleaning and waste/trash disposal of an assigned area.  Maintain all areas inside and outside of the building including but not limited to restrooms, hallways, arena attic, locker room, sidewalks, parking landscape, both during an event and nonevent times.    This includes but is not limited to replenishing supplies, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal and sorting, vacuuming, washing, waxing, lawn work, snow and ice removal.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general building and ground in a safe and clean manner.
  • Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned.  
  • Empty trash and wastebaskets.  
  • Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and sort recycling as needed.
  • Operate custodial equipment and other related equipment as required.
  • Report all damaged equipment to supervisor.
  • Assist with event clean-up.
  • Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal.

Operations Crew Member

JOB TITLE: Operations Crew Member

The Operations Crew Member reports to the Operations Supervisor and is primarily responsible for performing work as needed to clean, maintain and prepare for events at the facility.  Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events (setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings and equipment).
  • Perform varies duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met including, but not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies.
  • Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing and waxing.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tile, replacing filters, etc.
  • Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns or loss of property promptly to Operations Supervisor.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate knowledge of typical methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining the facility, and proper use and care of hand and power tools.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Follow all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations and emergency procedures.
  • Must perform strenuous physical duties at times, including lifting, carrying, moving and climbing.
  • Operate equipment such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, Zamboni machine, scrubbing machines or other light power driven equipment.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Work with Parking Manager on traffic flow for the Arena and Bowl
  • Be aware of all events at Pinnacle Bank Arena/Pinewood Bowl; handle all parking cash collecting on site that day
